The Truxton Academy PTO welcomes you to the 2022-23 school year!

 

We hope the semester is off to a great start for you and your student(s). We will be holding our first meeting tomorrow evening, 9/15 via zoom from 5:30PM-6:30PM. The PTO is excited to have you share your ideas and perspectives and these meetings, open to everyone, are a great way to learn more about opportunities to support students, staff, and the larger TA community.

 

There are endless ways to participate and involvement in the PTO doesn’t need to be formal, require meeting attendance, or entail a large time commitment. As the saying goes, many hands make light work!

 

Fundraisers – The PTO will hold a number of fundraisers over the course of the year. We recognize that participation is not always feasible and hope that by providing a variety of goods, price points, and dates that we’re able to offer appealing options that work for a range of audiences.

 

We will send information home with your students and also encourage you to check both the events calendar and PTO page on the Truxton Academy website for dates and details.

 

FALL FUNDRAISERS:

 

Truxton Academy Apparel (Now – 9/30)

Our first fundraiser is through our Truxton Academy Apparel store. Through the month of September, UniformPro will give the PTO 10% of all TA branded purchases. Get a jump on your holiday shopping and give the gift of school spirit swag!

 

To order you can browse the website and choose to have the items shipped directly to you or dropped to the school periodically for pick-up. Choose "Contract Sign-In" in the upper righthand corner of the page and use the code "Truxton".

 

SaveAround (9/26 – 10/7)

Later this month, each student will receive a SaveAround coupon booklet to show and sell. For every 5 books sold your child will receive one without charge (ex: if a student sold 5 book they could keep theirs for free). Books are $25 and good for 15 months running from August to September of the following year (there’s also an app). Truxton Academy will receive HALF of the total sales! Books can also be purchased for family and friends for the area they live in if they aren’t local. More information will be provided in the coming weeks.

 

Coffee Mania (10/24 – 11/4)

We will be offering the opportunity to order a variety of coffees, teas, and hot chocolate which will be delivered in time for Thanksgiving break. We timed it this way in case families wanted to deliver purchases in person to those they would be seeing for the holidays. TA will receive $5 for each item sold. More information will be provided in the coming weeks.

 

Trinity Valley (11/28 – 12/13)

After the holiday break TA families and friends will be able to order a variety of Trinity Valley baked goods to be received 12/23-24. More information will be provided in the coming weeks.
