PROJECT SAVE

Emergencies in schools must be addressed in an expeditious and effective manner. Schools are at risk of acts of violence, natural, and manmade disasters. To address these threats, the State of New York has enacted the Safe Schools Against Violence in Education (SAVE) law. Project SAVE is a comprehensive planning effort that addresses prevention, response and recovery with respect to a variety of emergencies in schools.​

THIS PROPOSED PLAN WILL BE UP FOR DISCUSSION AT A PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD ON SEPTEMBER 11, 2023 AT 6:45 PM AT 6337 ACADEMY STREET, TRUXTON, NY 13158. ALL ARE WELCOME TO JOIN IN PERSON TO COMMENT. COMMENTS ARE ALSO WELCOME VIA EMAIL IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND. COMMENTS SHOULD BE SENT TO INFO@TRUXTONACADEMY.ORG AND MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 4PM ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, 2023.
