Substitute Teacher Applicants are always Welcome!

Truxton Academy Charter School is now hiring substitute teachers. In our fifth year we serve just under 80 students which results in class sizes of about 20. The rate of pay starts at $120 per day. The school day runs from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Candidates should have experience working with young children and be able to manage a classroom by themselves. Preferred Candidates would have a NYS elementary teaching certificate. Substitute teachers must be available to receive early morning calls and provide their own transportation.
