Update from our Head of School - April 17,2020

Hello Families,

We hope you have all had a great week.  It has been a whirlwind of weather this week as we have gone back and forth between Winter and Spring.  All the same I hope that you have found some time to get outside when it has been nicer out.

Our teaching staff really enjoyed our drive-by parade this week and were so happy to see so many of our students!  Thank you for those of you who were able to come out to see us from a distance.  We miss you all so much!

School Closure Period

As many of you probably already know, as of yesterday, Governor Cuomo has extended the PAUSE for New York State until May 15th.  This will mean that our period of school closure will be extended as well.  By now you should have received the most recent project and supplementary materials.  These will carry us through the end of April and our wonderful teaching team is working on creating our next project which will begin in May.

Thank you for your continued support in these unprecedented times!  We are so grateful to our families and community for working with us to make sure all our kids are continuing to learn.

Thank you,

Sara and the Truxton Academy Team
